Conus (Jaspidiconus) marymansfieldae (Petuch, 1994)
Description (2): Shell of average size for subgenus, elongated, with high, pro-tracted, scalariform spire; shoul-der sharply-angled, ornamented with 15 very large, prominent knobs; spire whorls with smaller, more nume-rous knobs; knobs become obsolete on earliest whorls; body whorl heavily-sculptured with 18 very large, wide spiral cords; spiral cords on anterior half separated by deeply-impressed spiral sulci; aperture narrow.
Holotype: UF66435, Length 24 mm.
Type Locality: Pinecrest Beds Fauna, from Petuch Unit 7, APAC pit Sarasota, Sarasota County.
Remarks: Conus marymansfieldae, with its distinctive spiral sculpture, is most similar to another ribbed Pinecrest species, C. susanae n. sp. (Plate 94, Figure J) from Petuch Unit 3. The new species differs in being a much narrower, more elongated shell with a much higher spire and
